Back in the 16th century, Baba Budan, a revered saint, embarked on a pilgrimage to Mecca. On his journey, he discovered the enchanting elixir of coffee in Yemen. With a discerning eye for its potential, he smuggled seven precious beans back to his homeland, Chikmagalur, hidden within his robes. These seven beans were the seeds of transformation, marking India’s very first tryst with the enchanting beverage.
